Downton & Barefoot

dress & belt c/o Sincerely Sweet Boutique  //  bag & watch: fossil  // fedora c/o LeeLee Accessories

Remember that day I waited around all afternoon in my church clothes for David to get home and for M to fall asleep so I could take outfit pics only to discover that my shoes were in the nursery of said sleeping baby?  the really cute nude open toe pumps? ha! yup... thats what happend.  but with a one year old you just learn to roll with the bunches -- hence this post is sans shoes.

You may or may not know that I am obsessed with Downton Abbey (who in their right mind wouldn't be?)!  Ah - I love it.  The accents, the dress, the customs, the drama, the estate, the history, the character development... oh, how I get sucked in!  I'm dyyyyyyying for season three to hurry up an get here.  Anywho, I saw this dress at Sincerely Sweet Boutique and had to have it.  Although perhaps you might not find Lady Mary in something of this length, it so reminds me of the show -- the color, the blousey top and pleated bottom, the femininity of it.  I had to have it.  I can imagine Lady Sybil out with her working class Irish husband for a Sunday picnic in it.  Love it.

What do you say Downton lovers -- is this more Sybil, Mary, or maybe even Edith?  Or Anna or someone else?  Just please don't say O'Brien or I might just die!
