Adventures of Teal & Poppy: Part II
top: tulle a la stitch fix // hat: dillards // skirt: thrifted
necklace: Luxe Couture a la stitch fix // belt: my grandmother's // purse c/o conversation pieces
bungee wrap bracelets c/o metaluxe jewelry
As I mentioned last week in Part I of the Adventures -- I am loving the teal and poppy combo. Together or separate, these colors have spunk for summer. So obviously when my latest fix from stitch fix had this Tulle lace tank I had to keep it! {What's stitch fix you ask? scroll down to the "ps" of this post to learn more and to find a special invite} And woohoo a teal skirt and we were rockin. By the way -- I know it is quite possible you are tired of this hat, but here is the honest truth... I very rarely fix my hair and sometimes it goes unwashed or even brushed. And that's exactly what I think hats were made for.
I've always been a fan of colors. I get it from my mom. Several years ago, my grandfather once accused her of looking like a bag of skittles. She was just ahead of the trends. I think he might accuse me of the same thing with this outfit, but hey -- I would gladly take the compliment. Adding to this outfit's colors are my mango cross body country bag from conversation pieces and my neon wrap bracelets from a new etsy love of mine, Metaluxe Jewelry.
If you like color (and lots of it) mixed with bling then you need to just click on over to check out the Metaluxe shop (they've got neutrals too if that's more your thing). I really love the spunk of this line of jewelry. I've seen bungee bracelets in some big name brand stores, but I love so much more supporting small business owners -- especially when they are as awesome and original as the peeps behind Metaluxe Jewelry!

p.s. Stitch Fix is an awesome new way to shop with a personal shopper online. You fill out a really fun style survey and they send you a box of 5 items. You send $20 when you order your fix, but then the $20 goes towards whichever items you want to keep. If you keep all 5 you get an extra discount. Whichever items you don't like you send back in a prepaid enevelope. You can order a fix as often as you want. Sitchfix is still in beta, so you have to have an invite.... BUT -- I have an invite for you. Click HERE to sign up. This link is your personal invite from me. I realllly want you to sign up because I know you will love it & they have a great referral program (I get $ towards my next fix whenever someone signs up from my invite)! And -- once you are in, you can get in on the referral program too and earn yourself some swag bucks of your own. {You can read more about my experience with stitchfix by clicking Here.}
