Wiggles {wish i were here}

For our honeymoon (which was four years ago from next Friday!), David somehow found this awesome, seemingly unheard of island off of Caracas, Venezuela for us to travel to.  This place was amazing and I dream of going back someday!  We stayed in a greek style bed and breakfast -ish type place.  Three awesome meals a day, snacks and drinks on the roof... authentic italian seafood dinners -- (yes, I said Italian.  For some reason years ago Italians claimed this island as their vacation destination of choice and just kind of took over).  Every morning after breakfast they would put us on a boat and drop us off on our own island.  Before deserting us they would set up an umbrella and towel and then leave us with a cooler full of water, snacks, lunch, and drinks.  They would pick us up in time to have drinks and appetizers on the roof and grab showers before dinner.  This place was soooo awesome -- I could go on, but if I start throwing in all the amazing details, we'll all be here forever.  {david and I were looking at these pictures and wishing we had a good camera "back then." hehe}

Anywhoo...  although not a deserted island, we are so excited to be planning our 4th anniversary/ babymoon trip for the big apple!

    Love that you found an abstract little island to honeymoon on! how romantic!

    And NYC is anything but deserted that's for sure, haha! But I grew up 30 minutes away from Manhattan, so let me know if you need recommendations! :]

    Whoa! Such a beautiful place. Love the last picture and the idea of the babymoon trip!

    I wish I can say that I've traveled out of the country before, but I haven't. One day soon! I haven't been to anywhere as amazing as that place, but I would love to see Washington DC, Savannah, and of course all over Europe!

    that looks/sounds like an amazing place! the mister and i didn't get much of a relaxing honeymoon and we've talked about making our next vacation all about lounging on a deserted beach somewhere. this would be perfect!
