Be Young :: Part 2
I couldn't resist sharing these pictures. Seriously, I crack myself up. The top picture -- circa 1988ish... this is what I wore to fly from Missouri to California. I'm pretty sure I felt on top of the world that day. And little Blair as a vamp... I'm pretty sure that all of the twi-hards would be pretty jealous.
This weekend do something childish. Revel in the unlimited passion of a 5-year-old. Eat pb&j. Drink kool-aid (drink mustache required). Jump on a trampoline. Watch cartoons. Play freeze tag. Your bills can wait until Monday & so can cleaning your house.
I'd love to see some childhood pictures of y'all too! Link up your own posts below or email me pictures to be featured next week.
Have a lovely weekend!! I can't believe my James is getting married!
This makes me sad because I was such an ugly kid I would never send in a photo. Yuck!
ReplyDeleteAww, you are so cute Blair. I love both of your kiddy pictures. Love your post, you're right leave it all for Monday and just be silly, love it, thank you for the motivational message. I may just send some of mine or do a post myself sometime this weekend. I'll be Grease'n it up later today for a Grease-Sing-A-Long here in Ca, i think that constitutes the fun you have in mind.
ReplyDeletelove, hugs and kisses to you.
^-^
ohhhh goodness those pants are to die for!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletehahahah that is a very intense little vampire. and that outfit? priceless. the hot pink fanny pack really tops it off. i was thinking i'd clean the house tonight while joel sets up music gear for the band he's recording tomorrow, but maybe i'll play outside instead :)
ReplyDeleteHave to say, I'm loving the bright pink fanny-pack. Little Blair had class.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome - that outfit! :D I think I had one just like it back then - although I was older which makes it even more hysterical. I wish I had some pics but at the moment, I think they're all at my parents' place. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeletehave fun friend!
ReplyDeleteLoving that green/black outfit, especially with the pink fanny pack. Hey- ya'll have so much fun this weekend! Tell Martha Jane and TJ hello for us at the wedding! I have a small belated happy bday gift for you (it takes me a while to get things together these days...)

Love this! I may send you a couple pics, or I may post them to my own blog. Soon. Tomorrow probably. Love the reminders to stay young. Having a 1-yr-old and 3-yr-old will do it. I find myself dancing and eating popsicles and swinging on swings and running through the sprinkler and... Like being young all over again. (A little more tired this time around though!)
ReplyDeleteWow. ha ha ha Love these! You are utterly adorable!
